Le convertisseur OEO industriel 10G de la série ETH-IMC2402-OEO est une connexion fibre à fibre pour équipements 10 Gbit/s, fonctionnant comme convertisseur de média fibre ou comme répéteur fibre pour la transmission longue distance en environnement difficile, avec une température de fonctionnement de -40 à 80 °C.
Il est destiné aux applications de dorsale réseau (SAN, LAN, MAN). Il prend en charge SDH/SONET STM-64/OC-192, Fibre Channel 10G, Ethernet 10G, et peut être utilisé dans les laboratoires de R&D, les centres de données et les salles de télécommunications. Il prend en charge la conversion de longueur d'onde optique 1310nm/1550nm/CWDM/DWDM avec boucle de retour.
Lors de la connexion uniquement du port cuivre et du port fibre, il peut servir de connexion fibre à cuivre pour équipements Ethernet 1 Gbit/s, fonctionnant comme convertisseur de média fibre vers cuivre pour la transmission longue distance jusqu'à 120 km.
